Its superintendent is Dr. Charles Highsmith.
Its staff include the nurses Price and Evans and the orderly Frederick Long. Evans was in reality Montague Edwards.
Its patients include Alexander Roby and Lucius Harriwell.
It was the location of the murders of Cuthbert Yates, Frederick Long and Thomas Clarke .
It was visited by Doctor Frederick Bartlett and Captain George Withers.
